IT consulting that starts with your actual infrastructure.
For over 15 years, we’ve managed the IT infrastructure of Romanian companies. That same experience is what our IT consulting is built on: we help you make technology decisions with clear costs and risks, before you invest.
We assess the situation and hand you the recommendations in a clear report, and you decide with the full picture.

What IT consulting covers.
IT consulting means having a specialist on hand who understands the technology when you face a business decision: whether to move your data to the cloud or keep a server on site, whether to buy equipment or fold it into a subscription, what level of security your field actually requires. The starting point is always the same: an audit of your current infrastructure, free and with no obligation.
From that audit, you get a clear picture of what you have and a prioritized list of recommendations: what runs well, what carries a risk, and what’s worth changing, each with an estimated cost. We don’t use scare tactics or commercial pressure, and the report is yours whatever you decide.
What sets us apart from purely theoretical consulting is that we also run systems like yours every day. The recommendations come from practice: we know how long a migration takes, where the hidden costs usually show up, and what happens to infrastructure left without maintenance. For us, consulting and operations are the same job.
We work remotely or on site, as needed, and cover the entire country for on-site visits. After the audit, we decide together whether you need one-off consulting or an ongoing engagement.
An audit of your current setup.
We inventory your equipment, servers, network, and access permissions, then tell you plainly what you have and what state it’s in. The audit is free and yours to keep, whether or not we work together afterward.
Infrastructure and cost decisions.
Server on site or in the cloud, buying outright or equipment on subscription (Hardware as a Service), the right moment for an upgrade. We estimate the cost and implications of each option, so you can budget properly.
The right level of security.
We assess your risk exposure and the compliance requirements that apply to you, from data protection (GDPR) to regulations such as NIS2. You get a plan of measures by level, based on what your company processes and stores.
What the people who work with us say.
A few of the companies we’ve worked with for years. The words are theirs, exactly as we received them.
“Over 99% of our problems were resolved without delays — what we valued most was the response time. Eight years in which HQ has handled our entire IT ecosystem in Romania.”
“We’ve worked excellently with the HQ team on IT services since 2010. We recommend them first and foremost for maintenance, technical assistance, and the support they provide, but also for consulting. Every time, without exception, the HQ team has shown professionalism and promptness, and our internal audits have confirmed it.”
“What sets HQ apart is the proactive approach: they help us catch problems early, before they become something serious. Since 2012, our IT infrastructure has been in good hands.”

Frequently asked questions.
What’s the difference between IT consulting and IT outsourcing?
IT consulting means analysis and recommendations: we help you make the right call and hand you a plan. IT outsourcing means we take over the execution and day-to-day administration, under a contract with guaranteed response times (SLA). Many companies start with consulting or an audit, then choose outsourcing for the operational side.
Do you offer one-off IT consulting, without a monthly contract?
Yes. You can come to us for a single assessment or decision, without signing up for a subscription. If you later want an ongoing engagement, the consulting folds naturally into the administration service, and the audit already done stays the basis of the plan.
Does consulting cover security and compliance?
Yes. We assess the state of your IT security and the compliance requirements that apply to your company, including data protection (GDPR) and regulations such as NIS2. The result is a prioritized set of measures, each with a reason and an estimated cost.
How does a first consultation work?
It starts with the free audit: we talk through what’s on your mind, look at your current infrastructure, and within a few days you get a report with recommendations and estimated costs. From there, the decision is entirely yours.
Start with an audit.
Consulting starts from what you already have. We come in, assess your current infrastructure, and hand you a report with recommendations and estimated costs. No pressure, no obligation.
